Our longest running and most competitive tournament is the Presidential Cup. This is an open division, and players must be at least 18 years of age. This one fills up quick, so get your application in early to reserve a place for your team. This event features a three game guarantee.

Each team will get 3 preliminary games. Playoff format for Sunday changes year to year depending on Divisions and amount of teams

40+  Division – Limited to 4 teams (no age exceptions, even for goalies)
60+  Division – Limited to 4 teams (up to 5 players, including goalie, can be 55+ in 60+)
Females
Note: Age determined by year of birth (age on Dec. 31, 2025)
Games would start after 5pm on Friday and the last game on Sunday at 12:50pm
Oct 17-19, 2025: 4th Annual 45/50+ division (2-3 tiers)
10-12 teams – 2 or 3 tiers (C, C/D, REC or tier 1, tier 2, tier 3) TBD
Females
45+ min with team average 50+.
Note: 45 years old by end of 2025.
Games would start after 3pm on Friday and the last game on Sunday at 12:50pm

The Dave Dore Women’s Hockey Tournament means a lot to the Women of Mount Washington Valley. Dave was our greatest supporter when we were trying to get women’s hockey off the ground at the Ham Arena in 1999.
Each year in January (typically the weekend after New Year’s Day) we host a tournament in his name. The competition is tough and the format varies. Expect teams from Vermont, Maine, Massachusetts, NH and sometimes Canada!
If you would like to come to the Mount Washington Valley with your team we would love to have you.
